Sydney Harbour at Dusk - Sydney, Australia
I just love the tranquillity of watching the sun go down and the colors that it throws up in its retreat over the horizon. I managed to capture this photo last month looking over towards the city of Sydney. To me, it is not the best quality photo I have ever produced, but the orange colours reflecting off the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, the cityscape and the distant skyline, gives it a nice warm tranquil and relaxing feel. It was actually very peaceful sitting on the jetty watching the wonderful colours unfold on such a beautiful backdrop of some of Sydney’s most famous landmarks.
Sydney Opera House - Sydney, Australia
This would have to be without a doubt, the most famous landmark in Australia.
The Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts centre in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was conceived and largely built by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, opening in 1973 after a long gestation that had begun with his competition-winning design in 1957.
Photo was taken in front of the terminal building in the Rocks.
“Lone Ferry” – Sydney Harbour
I took this photo just as a Sydney Harbour ferry stopped to adjust its direction to make its way into the dock. It was great opportunity to capture the bridge and the North Sydney foreshore into the photo.
